When a new series of Avengers or a new line-up has to be assembled... Is that part of your job as incredibly fun as it seems? What is your procedure when choosing members? Could you say what is your favorite line-up in what creation you took part and was crearly a mistake? From my view you and Slott failed completly with the Dark Reign Mighty Avengers (Cassie, LadVision,USAgent...). On the ither hand the Bendis New Avengers and Hickman's large team were both great successes.

It’s typically the creators more than me, although I advise along the way, with notes like “Let’s make sure this isn’t a team of all blond-haired white guys.” But it really comes down to what characters people are interested in writing stories about, and what characters are available to be a part of the Avengers at that moment.
